BRIAN TURNING 50

Baby brother is approaching the big FIVE OH - in the same year he officially became father of Russell and the same week that he gains a new son in law. As if that is not enough, it is the same year he will first become grampa. That is a lot to happen in one year. But it gets better!

The day after Ranae and Philip's wedding, Joanie is throwing a 50th birthday bash for the kid. Everyone is invited to stay around town for the Sunday party, so nobody needs to miss the opportunity to roast Brian. We will, of course, forget about the obvious fact that he is still not as old as a few others of us, who have been around since well before the invention of the microchip, though at least a few years after the dinosaurs. For at least one day, we can entertain the myth that Brian is the oldest dog at the hydrant.
